COAST GUARD AUXILIARY OFFERING SAFE BOATING CLASS

Members of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 20-04 present a US Coast Guard Auxiliary course titled "Boating Safely". This is a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators approved U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary course designed for all boaters including hunters, anglers and operators of personal watercraft (often referred to as Jet Skis) who do not have time for a comprehensive safe boating course. The course is normally taught in 5 sessions. Students should plan on attending all sessions. An examination will be given at the last class and students that pass will receive certification of completion. This certification satisfies the New York State certification requirements for operation of personal watercraft and also provides certification for youngster age 10 thru 17 years of age to operate a pleasure motorboat on NYS waters without adult supervision. Many insurance companies offer reduced rates to boat owners who complete a safe boating course.

Enrollment is limited. To be on the list for notice for enrollment, send an email with your contact information to Larry.Bruck@ametek.com
